ROOTED HERE. READY TO FLY.

Your local
flying community.

Since 1967, New River Flying Club has brought people together around a passion for aviation in southern West Virginia.

We’re a nonprofit flying club based at Raleigh County Memorial Airport in Beckley. Our club owns a Cessna 172N, and we’re currently accepting new members who hold a pilot certificate.

INVESTING IN EVERY FLIGHT

Freshly overhauled.
Carefully maintained.

N9862J has a freshly overhauled engine from Pinnacle Aircraft Engines and a Powerflow exhaust system.

Our club invests heavily in keeping the airplane in great condition and maintaining it to the highest standards. N9862J has low hours and is not used for primary flight training.

A SMALL CLUB. A SHARED COMMITMENT.

We fly together.
We pitch in together.

Everyone has a part in New River Flying Club. We work together to care for our airplane, maintain our hangar, and look after the club’s assets. We fly together, help each other, and share the responsibility of keeping our club strong.
